Edwing D. Daniel, Ph.D. is the Dean of MD Admissions at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine. Edwing received his B.A from Chicago State University, and his M.Ed and Ph.D from the University of South Florida. A USF alumnus, Edwing brings over 15 years of experience in Admissions, Student Affairs, and Higher Education. In 2011, Edwing received the Mentor of the Year award from the Office of Diversity Initiatives at the University of Central Florida. He enjoys working with students, peers, and building relationships with external constituents that help achieve the overall goals.
