Thoracic Imaging Faculty


The Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is currently recruiting for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor in the Health Science Clinical Series. Titles in this series are assigned to academically qualified individuals who are in full-time service of the University, who are excellent in teaching and clinical service, and who are engaged in creative academic activities. This position is within the Thoracic Imaging Section.  Candidates must be board certified and have demonstrated outstanding practice at the entry – or mid faculty level.


The candidate will serve in all aspects of executing the education, research and clinical missions of UCLA Health, the DGSOM and the Radiology Department to improve health and health care to include: 1) serve as an attending radiology physician at all clinical imaging venues within UCLA Health; 2) provide prompt and outstanding service to patients and referring physicians within and outside of UCLA Health; 3) build collegial professional relationships to provide continuity of care in managing follow-up patient care during on-call hours; 4) teach medical students, residents, fellows and professional staff in the clinic, reading room, and classroom; and 5) attend and participate in Radiology Faculty meetings, Radiology Grand Rounds and other departmentally sponsored conferences.
